This is your source of information for everything Charlie & Celia as well as The Appalachian Green Parks Project and the New Vinton County Frogwhompers.

It's September, 2008, a year since we've updated this front page message. Time moves swiftly in our neighborhood. Please be sure to check our Calendar dates to see when and where we are playing. This month and next are filling up as we look forward to some of our annual autumn and winter engagements.

1. The Green Parks CD has

- all 13 of the cuts released on vinyl in the Summer of 1975, plus

- other studio recordings that simply wouln't fit on the vinyl format.

- The additional inclusion of 4 cuts from the 1976 touring group makes it especially a true retrospective since the music of all the major touring groups during the life of the project are included. You can go to our music link and listen to some recordings of this group and get a flavor of what it was all about.

The Frogwhompers CD set includes

- the Frogwhomper Album,

- the A Touch Of Grass Album,

- and a series of recordings that were made with plans to release a third album that never quite made it to publication-until now.

- There are even a few additional bonus tracks that came from some live performances in the studio while we were recording the soundtrack for a movie for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources that were recorded just for the fun of it. All told, this two CD set has 52 cuts - well worth the price and an essential must-have for any true blue Frogwhomper fan.

We have been moving slowly toward the completion of our next Charlie & Celia CD. In the meantime, we are playing live music at the many venues that continue to invite us to appear and make every effort to stay on top of the necessary updates to our website so that you can know where you can come and see us.
